New Year's Eve dinner in Prague: A gourmet end to the year at Deer Restaurant

For New Year's Eve, Executive Chef Lubomír Dolejš and his team have prepared a four-course tasting menu for CZK 2,490 per person. Choose between a classic and a vegetarian menu, both with optional wine pairing.

A New Year's Eve menu of thoughtfully chosen flavours

For this special evening, the Deer Restaurant team has created a tasting menu that brings together quality ingredients, creative culinary techniques and beautiful presentation on every plate.

The classic menu begins with beef tenderloin tartare, served with truffle mayonnaise, sun-dried tomatoes, capers, egg yolk gel and black truffle.

Next comes grilled salmon with saffron sauce, accompanied by cauliflower, carrots, celery, fava beans and Beluga lentils.

The main course features venison loin, served with potato gnocchi and venison shoulder, alongside root vegetable purée with juniper and wild cranberries. The rich flavour of the venison is beautifully balanced by the delicate purée and slightly tart cranberries.

For a sweet finale, the kitchen presents Forest, a dessert featuring honey mousse, forest berries, chocolate leaves, chocolate soil and sea buckthorn. A combination of delicate sweetness, fruity freshness and contrasting textures.

A festive vegetarian menu

Just as much care has gone into creating a special menu for guests who prefer vegetarian cuisine.

The vegetarian menu opens with goat's cheese panna cotta, accompanied by beetroot, quinoa and caramelised hazelnuts. This is followed by a creamy mushroom risotto with morels, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and crème fraîche.

The third course features pumpkin ravioli with rocket and a delicate cream sauce with cherry tomatoes. Both menus conclude with the same Forest dessert.

Wine pairing to complement every course

Make your New Year's Eve dinner even more special with optional wine pairing. Each of the four courses is accompanied by a carefully selected wine chosen to complement the dish and bring out its individual flavours.

Wine pairing is available for an additional CZK 990 per person.

New Year's Eve dinner in the heart of Prague

Deer Restaurant is tucked away on peaceful Michalská Street, just a few minutes' walk from Old Town Square.

Historic interiors, a glass-roofed atrium, beautifully set tables and live music create a welcoming setting where you can savour the final dinner of the year at your own pace.

After dinner, you'll already be in the heart of Prague's New Year's Eve celebrations. Take a stroll through the surrounding streets, continue the evening with cocktails or join the festivities as the city welcomes the new year.

Our four-course New Year's Eve tasting menu is available for CZK 2,490 per person. Optional wine pairing for all four courses is available for CZK 990 per person.

Two dinner sittings are available: 18:00–21:00 and from 21:15 onwards. Guests booking the earlier sitting are kindly asked to vacate their table by 21:00.

Reservations can be made through our online booking form and are confirmed once you have selected your menu and dining time and completed the advance payment.
