The new cocktail menu at Black Angel’s Bar: another chapter opens beneath the Old Town

One of the most atmospheric cocktail bars in Prague presents a new cocktail menu inspired by the story of Alois Krcha - a man whose diaries, notes, recipes and unfinished thoughts became part of the identity of this exceptional place.

Black Angel's Bar in Prague - New Alois Krcha menu

Black Angel’s Bar is not an ordinary bar in the centre of Prague. Hidden in a Gothic cellar, it brings together the atmosphere of the Old Town, the style of a speakeasy bar, dim light, precise mixology and cocktail art. The new menu continues a story that is typical of Black Angel’s - mystery, detail, ritual and drinks that begin where the diaries of Alois Krcha end.

A Story Hidden in Cocktails

The new menu draws inspiration from discovered diaries and old recipes, bringing them into a contemporary form. Each cocktail has its own character, atmosphere and reason for existing. Guests can look forward to more than two dozen new drinks, original flavour combinations, striking presentation and bar service that remains one of the greatest strengths of Black Angel’s Bar.

First Look at the New Menu

From the new cocktail menu, we have selected three drinks as a small glimpse into the world born from the diaries of Alois Krcha.

Mitch the Snitch

Cocktail Mitch the Snitch

A sweet and sour, fruity drink with Absolut vodka, MUYU Jasmine Verte, guava, peach and lemon.

Just In Time

Koktejl Just in time

A bittersweet, lightly tart and refreshing cocktail with Beefeater gin, Pampelle, yuzu, lemon and Double Dutch Cranberry & Ginger Tonic.

Tea Ceremony

Koktejl Tea Ceremony

An elegant tea cocktail with Ki No Bi gin, yuzu, Hojicha tea and Umeshu plum wine.

The menu also includes refined non-alcoholic variations, prepared with the same care as the signature cocktails.

If you are looking for a cocktail bar in Prague, a speakeasy bar in the city centre or a place for an evening drink after dinner, Black Angel’s Bar offers an experience that is difficult to confuse with any other venue. It is ideal for a romantic evening, a meeting with friends, a visit to Prague or a special occasion. The atmosphere of the underground bar recalls the era of prohibition-style bars, but without forced stylisation - more like a discreet world beneath the rhythm of the Old Town.

The new menu was first presented on 13 May at 21:00. That evening, the diaries of Alois Krcha opened once again, and guests were among the first to taste the new signature cocktails of Black Angel’s Bar.

Reserve your table and become part of the secret waiting beneath the Old Town.

At Black Angel’s Bar, flavour is only the beginning. Each cocktail carries a story, a setting and a trace of the mystery that lingers long after the last sip.
